Mostly, the pressure I’ve been having the last days is caused by a new job opportunity I’m chasing. Of course I can’t say much about it but I think it’s going well. I do hate all the lying at my current employers though, trying to steal time for interviews etc. I’m also very lousy at negotiating for money. The agent I’m dealing with is putting way too much pressure on me sending emails and then text messages all the time. I’m currently speaking to him at least 5 times a day. Yesterday, I didn’t hear from him for more than 4 hours and I became very worried that something happened to him.
Anyway, I’ll have more news on that next week. I probably shouldn’t even have mentioned it. I will never underestimate again the power of hot water though…

On a different but also very happy note, the new issue of ‘Gay Times’ is out and oh boy, there are interesting eye candy in there. There’s an interview by Ben Cohen. I haven’t had the chance to read the article yet but I was very intrigued by the photos. That’s a small sample I found online. There are more in this issue..

Have an amazing weekend! Weather-wise it will be a bit miserable again but oh well, we’re used to it by now. Enjoy!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you :-)
ReplyDeletePassez une bonne journée
ReplyDeleteI'm a bath rather than a shower person. But a functional bath, rather than soaking. I can't dothe soaking thing. Our bath has a shower attachment with the taps which is excellent because you can use it to rinse your hair etc.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the opportunity!

Bathing is a long time ritual of cleansing and jolly good fun to boot !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind 'heads up'
PS - this weekend may I list you in my links?
I love to read in the bath, but I always have a shower straight after.
ReplyDeleteI read that issue of gay times whilst I was travelling to Dublin. I didn't love the pictures of Ben, they weren't as sexy as they could have been. Although I did enjoy the interview, he is an inspiration.
@Cubby Thanks. :-)
ReplyDelete@Suf_n_Steve Merci. La meme a toi...
@MadeInScotland Thanks. In my en suite I only have a shower, so I don't have any other choice. I don't mind though. I look at bathing as something luxurious to be enjoyed rarely...
@Ur-Spo Of course you may. I love reading your blog. :-)
ReplyDelete@Mind_Of_Mine I do rinse and do my hair even after the bath. I don't like staying with the soap... Yes, you're right. What he's doing is amazing. I got the chance to read the article as well...
Good luck with the job - I hope it works out! And don't feel guilty about the time thing - some companies undervalue their employees - and you just have to do what is in your best interest!
ReplyDelete@SteveA That is true. However, I can't help it. I need to grow thicker skin.
