Where to go to watch porn…

The new place to go to watch gay porn nowadays is not in the privacy of your own room but at your local Church. I was surprised / stunned / shocked when I read in BBC that gay porn was showed in a Uganda church to make people join the clergyman’s homophobic plans! His plans were to make homosexuality into a death penalty disserved crime.

I feel so lucky that I’ve managed to get to live in a place like London and lead the life I do. This post made me think where in the world homosexuality is still a criminal offence. I came across this from Wikipedia:

Click on Map to see it better

I don’t know how accurate this map is, since I cannot imagine Turkey to be for example a very gay friendly place. I also know that in Greece, conservative as it is (forget what you see in Mykonos), a gay military man or priest wouldn’t be easily accepted. A priest coming out would create such a scandal there, that I am laughing on my own just by thinking about it. It’s so ironic (hypocritical and fake) that there isn’t any politician, athlete or even singer that’s officially said that he or she is gay! The ancient Greeks that lived so many centuries ago were far more open minded than the current society.

Anyway…
On a very (very) different issue, I’m quite pleased with myself because my training for my half-marathon is going well. I tried to test my new shoes yesterday by running for a little more than 17km around West London. Time is running out (actual date of the event is the 7th of March) and I wanted to see whether I’d able to do it. Running this distance on a week day after work proved to me that I can make it. On top of that I might add, before going running and after work, I managed to put in the oven a chicken with potatoes to bake in a mustard / lemon sauce…
I’ve used a cooking bag and the oven was in medium heat, so when I returned from my run (after a couple of hours), the chicken was deliciously ready and my house not burnt!

  1. Aristotle once said "All men of genius are Melancholy temperament"

meaning if they are homosexual, they won't show it to the world(like we did today!), play quietly in ur own compound!(tell me do they have orgy/sauna house like we have in Belgium!ops!)

good luck on ur distance running...

  5. we should count our blessings that we live in the countries we do, that allow same sex marriage and dont criminalise homosexuality. Same sex marriage has been legal in SA since 01/12/2006 (i think, maybe 2007) but it is still pretty new.

  6. 17KM? That's insane. I think I never ran more than 9KM. Ok, I never really jogged that much anyway.

I don't really know what's with them people and their problem with homosexuality. I'm just tired of thinking about it and getting to the point of not caring at all.

At least gay marriage might get legalized in Portugal in the following months - let's see how it goes.

Divorce is forbidden here in Malta - imagine homosexual relationships or even marriage, lol. You can get arrested if you dress as a priest or nun during carnival. Little-minded-people.

  7. @Suf_n_Steve I thought that it meant that people of genius are more likely to get melancholic / depressed. It had to do with their perception of reality. I don’t think it had to do with hiding or evading reality.

@Paige I’ve been lucky enough never to get involved in any homophobic incident. It is shocking to see what is happening to some parts of the world

@MadeInScotland. I’m so flattered. I don’t look like that though. I can get the complexion if you leave me for a whole summer in Greece. You’ll also have to let me finish a couple of more marathons as well to get the flat stomach. I’m more hairy that he is though…

    @Jim thanks

@wozzel ’JJ’ told me that in SA there were changes very recently made and that people is not that accepting. Is that true? A couple of decades ago there was a very different story…

@Pedders I really do enjoy jogging. My dream is to start going running to other places of the world. Are the people of Malta hard core Catholics? Is that the reason why divorce is not allowed? I don’t get that either. How can you force people to stay in a marriage for life, without a means to escape?

  8. Jees Nik, so many countries are still not getting it.
Good luck with your training - I envy you. I get tired if I walk to the fridge. I even get a trolley at the supermarket - even if I'm only buying milk and a newspaper.
    :)

  9. If they showed porn in church they'd get more people going I'm sure.
